Simple card I made today

I made this simple card today.  It was with a heavy heart as it is for my son, his grandmother passed this week and it has been pretty difficult for him and his fathers side of the family.  She was an absolute jewel of a women, and will be sorely misssed.  My ex and I have been apart for many, many years but I still care for his family just as much.

I used a sort of Thumping technique on the branches for this one and thought that it turned out lovely.  I used some of my new Stampin Up markers on the image.  The rest is just very simple rectangles.  This is one of my favorite stamps and it was perfect for this card.  There is a simple stamped sympathy passage on the inside.

Simple Sympathy card

Here is a simple sympathy card I made last Friday for a new friend who lost her husband last month. I hope she finds peace and knows her Circle sisters will be there for her.
I used the French Manor cart on this card. The layered bird was cut using a beige glitter cardstock. I used Glossy accents on his wing and a black brad for his eye. The sentiment is a stamp I had and used Stazon on Timber brown ink. I used gold embossing freehand around the Flourish and tied a pink and brown ribbon around card. I add 3 little pink rhinestones on side.

Sympathy card

I made this when a coworker of my husband's father passed away.
